Home for the blind in Basle celebrates its 111th anniversary

The tradition-steeped home for the blind in Basle has turned 111 and celebrates this anniversary with different activities throughout the year. Two concerts on January 17 and 18 formed the festive prelude. They were performed by over 300 pupils of the music school of the Basle Music Academy and were free of charge. On the occasion of a preliminary media conference local media representatives were informed on the program of the anniversary as well as on the institution itself.
