Testing of Sirens 2009

The operability of all sirens in Switzerland was tested on 4 February 2009. This test was accompanied by a campaign of the Federal Office for Civil Protection FOCP to inform and sensibilise the population of Switzerland. Among other measures, TV presenter Sven Epiney, ex-Miss Switzerland Christa Rigozzi and offshore sailor Pierre Fehlmann distributed cards with information about what to do in case of a siren alarm.
