Galenica Group increases profits by more than 40%

Galenica Group presented at the Full Year Results Meeting of March 17, 2009 again a record result posting a double-digit growth in profit for the 13^th consecutive year (+ 40.4 %). Important milestones of 2008 were among others the acquisition of the Canadian company Aspreva and the formation of Vifor Pharma, the launch of Ferinject® in eight European countries, the partnership agreement with Fresenius Medical Care and the start-up of the distribution centre in Niederbipp.
