Rhenus Alpina ended the 2012 business year successfully. The Swiss companies increased their turnover in 2012 to 273 million Swiss Francs (2011 268 million).

The Dental Association SSO of the Cantons of Basel and Basel-Landschaft contributes to the annual start of the swimming pool season with a dental injury prevention campaign. It draws attention to and informs on suitable preventative measures as well as correct first aid procedures in the event of a dental injury.

This year�s swiss export day was characterized by two jubilees: 40-years Private Export and 10-years swiss export association. With the motto �Discover the Potential!� several speakers from the economic and politic sectors gave lectures about the latest trends and opportunities in the sector. Additionally, a panel discussion and information fair revealed how companies need to plan for being successful in future.

Rhenus: Special exhibition at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne

From 28 March to 20 October 2013 a special exhibition called �Cargo � Fascination Transport� will take place at the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne. Contargo, a Rhenus affiliate, will participate in this special exhibition with their own cargo container display. Rhenus Alpina also pledged a significant amount in sponsoring the participation of the Ports of Switzerland. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the importance of waterways in the overall transport industry.

int/ext Communications manages the media liaison for this project on behalf of the Rhenus Group.

Syngenta is in the process of introducing an exciting Cashback Yield Guarantee campaign to growers that guarantees an extra 0.5 tonne of yield per hectare if certain criteria are met. It is an integrated solution that combines the greater yield potential of HYVIDO� hybrid barley seed technology with a tailored agronomy program and local reference fields that will serve as a benchmark for performance.

int/ext assisted our joint venture agency, Gibbs & Soell Inc. (US), in developing and producing the communication guidelines and collateral material.
